Heinz proudly unveils its latest breakthrough: a cutting-edge red tattoo pigment meticulously crafted from a selection of non-harmful ingredients. This pioneering development serves as a strategic response to the escalating restrictions on tattoo ink ingredients, particularly focusing on the challenges associated with red ink, known for triggering allergic reactions and complications. Drawing inspiration from the same commitment to quality seen in Heinz’s ketchup, this innovative pigment is poised to redefine the tattoo industry.

The idea for the ink can be traced back to Heinz’s collaboration with the iconic Ed Sheeran in 2019. The collaboration involved auctioning special-edition ketchup bottles inspired by the singer’s tattoos for charity. In response to the overwhelming support from the collaboration, the company embarked on a mission to create a proprietary pigment based on its official Pantone color.

To elevate the tattooing experience further, Heinz has sought the expertise of five distinguished Brazilian tattoo artists. This collaboration has resulted in the creation of 57 original Heinz tattoo stencils, all of which will be conveniently available online. Anticipated to hit the market soon, this exceptional red tattoo ink will be accessible at the finest tattoo parlors, marking a new era of creativity and innovation in the world of body art.
